L2 Network Engineer | SD-WAN & Security Specialist | Global SOC

The Opportunity

This is your chance to join a Tier-1 Global Digital Infrastructure Provider that owns the world’s largest network. This industry giant carries approximately 30% of the world's internet routes and connects businesses to 80% of the world's cloud giants.

We are seeking a skilled L2 Network Engineer to join their high-growth International Service Operations Centre (SOC) in Singapore. This is a critical technical role where you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), troubleshooting complex network issues for global enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve Level 2 incidents regarding IP Networking and Security solutions.
• Change Management: Perform assessments, execute network changes, and conduct post-implementation checks to ensure stability.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor performance during critical incidents, ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Traffic Analysis: Run and analyze traffic reports and IP configurations to optimize network performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance network facilities, including updates, upgrades, and new system integrations.

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Network Operations or Engineering.
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with IP Networking and SD-WAN technologies (specifically Viptela, Versa, or Fortinet).
• Security Knowledge: Experience with Security platforms (Fortinet) is essential. Knowledge of Cloud-based proxy services (Zscaler, Prisma) is a strong plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
• Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to coordinate effectively between internal departments and external vendors.
