Job Description

Elbit is seeking a Level 2 Support Engineer which will be responsible for maintain on-premises systems on customer sites. The day to day activities includes diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems as part of Elbit’s Cyber Intelligence solutions and products. The role will emphasize on legacy products together with our new product platform including open source technologies with micro services environment. The position will require a high degree of coordination with the customer and the company’s engineering, services, laboratory, R&D operations and business teams.

Expected Experience and Knowledge:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in R&D / technical support / professional services or similar
  • Ability to understand and analyze complicated, multidisciplinary and distributed systems
  • Experience with operating systems: Linux and Windows
  • Experience with NetApp, VMware
  • Experience with Networking
  • Knowledge and experience in problem solving with Kibana, Prometheus and Grafana – advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in problem solving with Micro services environment - Docker and Kubernetes advantage
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering – Advantage
  • Experience with SQL databases - Advantage
  • Experience with BigData, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Flink -Advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of CD/CI processes - Advantage
  • Knowledge of scripting like: Ansible, bash, python - Advantage
  • Working over on-prem environment
